Canadian Wine Tasting Experience

Spend an evening with one of Canada's most outspoken Canadian wine specialists, Laura Batten, and taste bottles you can't easily access.

This intimate Canadian wine tasting experience takes place in Laura’s private residence in Toronto, where guests gather around the table for an evening of exceptional Canadian wines, honest conversation, and the stories behind the bottles.

You may also be greeted by Dottie, the resident dog and unofficial host of the evening. While Laura handles the wine, Dottie specializes in making guests feel at home.

Featuring 5 carefully selected Canadian wines, wine education, and a deep dive into Canada's most exciting wine regions paired with local cheese and charcuterie. (no extra charge for dog cuddles)

What People Are Saying

  • "The CRUSHABLE concept is dead simple: educating consumers by bringing fine wine to its natural habitat—the table. There Milnes’ members can investigate the wines while enjoying them and talking about them. How many times do consumers order a $100 bottle of wine at a restaurant, listen politely to a quick explanation of what they ordered, and then more or less forget about it? Now we know there is a better way."

    — Malcolm Jolley, The Hub

  • "Unconventional is too mild of a description of Laura Milnes, owner of Crushable. She epitomizes the essence of being a maverick and trendsetter."

    — Lidija Biro, Wines In Niagara

  • "Laura is the ultimate Canadian wine maven. I can conservatively declare that Canadian wine culture will not be the same in the future without Laura's contributions. The timeline will skew because of her."
